In the Quran, there is a genuine mistake, which cannot be excused by a copyist error. The different numbers in the Bible don't affect any Christian doctrine, but in Surah 4:11-14, Allah gives the laws for inheritance, and disobeying them will lead to hell. Fair enough, if obeying them wasn't impossible in some cases. Let's say a man dies and leaves behind his parents, his 2 daughters, and his wife. The parents are supposed to get 1 sixth each, that is 1 third in total (33%). The daughters share 2 thirds (67%). The wife gets 1 eighth (12.5%). If we add all these shares together, we get 112.5%, which is impossible - unless a miracle happens, then it's fair enough.

And i have found an article explaining this as well: The ‘reduction’ (nuqsan) in mind and religion is related to a woman’s legal obligations. As applied to religion, women are not obligated to pray or fast while menstruating or enduring post-natal bleeding. As applied to mind, women are not obligated to perform some functions such as testifying before a judge in a criminal case. Some authors have mistranslated nuqsan by using derogatory terms like ‘deficient in intelligence,’ or ‘lacking common sense.’ This rendition is inappropriate because the word in this context means a ‘reduction,’ as it is used in the Quran. It means that one of the reasons why the witness of a women is equal to half of that of a man is not because of the "deficiency in their mind" but rather the reduction in certain duties women have. Next point: O women the majority of you were in hellfire. The explanation for this summarized is that 1. The thing to remember about dawah (Muslim apologetics) is that it doesn't operate according to western standards of intellectual discourse. It relies much more on bravado and passion than simple "if A, then B". A Muslim argument can be completely vacuous but if the apologist says it with enough energy and conviction, Muslim listeners will take it seriously.

Its interesting because Christianity actuality has three foundational and logicaly independent claims. 1. The Christian god is real 2. The bible was writen (or divinley inspired by god) 3. The bible is complete and cannot be edited or added to. The second two dont actually necessarily follow from the first as many Christians like to assume. They require their own evidence, and so far its circular. (The bible said that the bible is gods word is a circular argument even if you grant the existence of a god) While inconsistencies in the bible dont challenge the first claim, they do challenge the second two. And could be argued, Christianity as we know it relies apon these just as much as the first.

I find the contradictions in Gen 5 and 11 and the contradictions in Deut 32 more serious. Even the contradiction in Ex 21,16/17 can have a greater impact. The issue with the Angel of the Lord also a more severe one.

As someone who is neither a muslim or a christian I have one question. Why are you putting down another religion in your videos to emphasise the importance of your chosen faith?

This is actually a classic case of Muslims applying their own standards for the Quran onto the Bible without considering how the 2 books are regarding, in other words, a clear false equivalence fallacy. (Contradictions in the Quran itself and between the Qira’at aside).
